Standards
How we work when money and reputation are on the line
Not a manifesto — operational rules we scope into contracts and enforce in Discord delivery.
These standards apply to every mxstermind Studio engagement. If a rule below conflicts with a signed MSA, the MSA wins — otherwise this page is what you can cite publicly in procurement or Discord intake.
Client standards
Discord is the primary delivery channel. We commit to same-day responses on active Studio engagements during agreed working windows, and next-business-day responses when you message outside them — not silence followed by a calendar link.
You receive a named lead for strategy and a named lead for execution. Substitutions happen only with notice, never silently after deposit.
Urgent launch windows get a shared war-room thread with decision logs so approvals do not live in scattered DMs.
Delivery standards
Done means the signed brief is met: files delivered, repos transferred or access granted, documentation included, and staging approved by you or your delegate.
We stage work for review — strategy before design, design before build — so rework stays bounded. Change requests outside brief are re-scoped in writing before we continue.
Handoff includes source files, component notes, and deployment steps a competent internal hire can follow without us on retainer.
Financial standards
Milestones map to deliverables, not calendar months alone. Escrow platforms you already trust are welcome; we do not insist on a single vendor.
Crypto payments are accepted when contract and jurisdiction allow, with wallet addresses confirmed out-of-band to prevent spoofing.
Refunds apply when we fail to deliver a agreed milestone and cannot remedy within a written cure period. Deposits after sign-off are not refundable because capacity is reserved — that is stated before you pay.
Privacy standards
Client data stays in your accounts when possible. We request least-privilege access and revoke on handoff.
NDAs are available on request. We do not train public models on your private assets without explicit written permission.
Intellectual property transfers on final milestone payment unless your MSA states otherwise. Third-party fonts, stock, and licensed assets are listed in delivery manifests.
Quality standards
We refuse work that targets harassment, fraud, or undisclosed impersonation. We refuse rushed Web3 launches without security review when onchain funds are at risk.
Internal review covers accessibility basics, performance budgets on web deliverables, and copy accuracy for claims you will publish.
We do not ship placeholder legal pages, fake metrics, or testimonial quotes you cannot verify.
Community standards
We treat clients, vendors, and competitors with direct respect — no defamation in Discord, no poaching your contractors mid-engagement.
Vouches we display are real. We ask permission before quoting you publicly.
We present mxstermind Studio honestly: bespoke scope, capped capacity, and clear milestones — never bait-and-switch.
Straight answers
What are mxstermind Studio ethics and standards?
They are public commitments on communication, delivery, payments, privacy, quality, and conduct — not marketing fluff. Selective, explicit, and enforceable through how we scope contracts.
How do refunds work at mxstermind?
If we miss a written milestone and cannot cure in the agreed period, escrow or milestone funds for that stage return per contract. After you approve a stage, payment releases — capacity was reserved and work was delivered.
Who owns the work product?
You do, on final payment for that milestone, unless your enterprise MSA differs. We list third-party licenses you must maintain after handoff.
Can procurement teams use this page?
Yes. Link /ethics-standards in RFPs or vendor review. Financial and delivery sections match how we write statements of work on Discord.
